Hungy & Light Cover
So I actually have a pretty good casting of the LED cover, and it’s been epoxied into place:
Since we’re trying to diffuse the light back onto the fish and out, I went for a translucent instead of transparent effect; the casting will get a blue-tinted heavy gloss clear-coat, and the whole thing will be gloss-coated.
As soon as the epoxy is dry, I’ll do a final check on the LED then start silver base coats with blue & purple washes, and perhaps an inkwash to bring out some of the surface details. More pics (including lit up shot) and paint to follow.
