The chapter lives. Tonight we had a meet-up at the Pike Place Brewing company – it was exciting to meet folks from the community, and even more exciting to see the IGDA having a presence in Seattle.
I’ve long thought that with the vibrant community Seattle possesses – from games to academia to massive presences in the technical sphere – that Seattle really could support a IGDA & Siggraph Chapter. I found out that UW has a Siggraph working group, so that’s two big developments in one evening!
